My vote # 2! Should we set a minimum goal of how many abstracts we should
receive by June 1 in order to proceed with the conference? If not enough,
option #1 should then be exercised.

Dear VTIC2003 Organizing Committee:

First of all, thank you for your suggestions on what to do next with
VTIC2003. Please send me your vote on one of the following 2 options:

1) Postpone VTIC2003 to next year (2004).
2) Extend the abstract submission deadline to June 1, 2003. The full paper
deadline will be pushed by one month. This option will require aggressive
approach to potential authors.

You have 48 hours to cast a vote. I will send out the decision by 6PM
5/8/2003.

Thank you for your time and effort.

Regards,

Nhan

	Dear all,

As of today, Tri and I have received only 13 abstracts for the
VTIC2003. There may be a number of reasons for the low number of submission
this year. Two possible main reasons are (1) the current economic situation
and (2) proximity (time) of this to VTIC2002.

I would urgently like to call for an on-line discussion of what to
do next. I am proposing the following 2 options:

	1) Postpone VTIC2003 to next year
2) Extend the abstract submission deadline again

Please send me any other option you can think of in the next 24
hours. I will then post all the options to the organizing committee for a
quick vote.

Thank you for your time and effort.

	Regards,

	Nhan
