Greetings, everyone!

I have several things to share with you:

1) Our blog at www.AsianAmericansforMcCain.org<http://www.asianamericansformccain.org/>has
recently been redesigned and updated. With that comes a surge of new
visitors and users as well as some national media attention. Hopefully,
this will provide an effective platform for APAs to discuss issues in this
important election and get to know more about Senator McCain, the most
qualified candidate the Republican Party AND America can produce (this is
not only my personal opinion but The Economist in last week's issue, also
agreed<http://www.economist.com/opinion/displaystory.cfm?source=most_commented&source=most_commented&source=most_commented&story_id=11496904&intent=readBottom&intent=postTop&intent=readBottom>.)
We are in the process of building our blogging team quickly as well as
establishing a grassroots network of volunteers across the country.

2) We have received numerous media inquiries over the past few months to
interview APAs who are supporting and volunteering with the McCain
campaign. A reporter from a News21, a NPR affiliate, wants to interview an
Asian American family in which parents and children choose to support
different candidates. I am sure there must be some among us. If you're
interested in sharing your views and contributing Vietnamese American
perspective in this election, please let me know. THe reporter will be
here until next week.

Please feel free to forward this message to any of your friends/family
members who might be interested. Many thanks.

Sincerely,

Shandon

Hi Shandon,

It was a pleasure speaking with you today. Thank you so much for your time
and help.

Per our conversation, I'm looking for an Asian immigrant family in which the
parents and children don't agree on which candidate to support. I'm leaving
for Los Angeles next Friday, so I'd like to set up the video interview
before I leave, if possible. Also, I'd love to meet with Asian American
McCain volunteers in Los Angeles.

Again, thanks so much! Let's stay in touch, and please keep me updated on
any McCain events related to Asian Americans.

Regards,

Mira
