[Vnbiz] possible rate cut in August? are they joking?

Charles,
I agree with you on this. I supposed the government would keep the current
basic rate at least for the rest of the year or otherwise increase the rate
in Q308 to 16-18% then cut it from Q408. If the government wants to pump
some air to banking sector, they may lower the reserve requirement.
My hypothesis was that reserve requirement would have little impact on the
money supply at the moment.
Anyway, let's see what happen and if we can forecast!
