[Vnbiz] A heart-touching article, about ban of street sale-person in Hanoi

 Dear Brother Quang Anh & CACC,

Thanks, Quang Anh, for posting such a sweet article.  I wholeheartedly agree
with anh Bui Kien Thanh.  I still don't understanbd why the Hanoi
authorities are so gungho on eliminating peddlers.  These poor and
courageous people are working hard every day to eek out a living, to feed
and clothe their children, and some well-off politicians simply decide that
they should just starve themselves.

If there are problems, each problem should has its own solution, from
disorderly conduct to impeding traffic, to food hygiene, to zoning.  Simply
trying to wipe them out is, to say the least, heartless.  In addition, when
you try to take out the living of the poor, you will increase your crime
rate and other social issues that you can't handle.

I think the peddlers give Hanoi and Saigon their characters.  They make
these cities look more friendly and gentle.  If Hanoi has no peddlers like
Washington DC, then its attraction to the Americans will be reduced
somewhat.  I think that peddlers make a city more attractive to tourists.

Please, give your poor brothers/sisters a chance to live.
