Dear CACE:

Uhhhmmmm....I may sound a bit like a proud Papa here, but I wanted to share
some news and solicit some support (if on very short notice).

Some of my first semester students have self-organized a small donation
drive as a concluding project within, but separate from, an Organizational
Behaviour class that I teach and that they study. I lecture at RMIT in
Hanoi.

These students have organized a three day trip to Ha Giang to provide
clothing donations under a project that they are driving called, "Warm
Winter"; we leave on this *upcoming Saturday afternoon*. It is truly
amazing how well planned and coordinated this small project is where all
necessary approvals and arrangements have been coordinated in a relatively
short period of time. I am truly proud of my students for the wonderful
work that they have taken upon themselves. It shows the spirit, dedication
and care of these students who have decided, in addition to the very
challenging work they do in our first semester class, to commit themselves
to serving the needs of others. I might say, that they are wonderful
examples of the future generation that will help lead Vietnam to the
prosperity that it rightfully deserves.

So, if any in the Hanoi area would have extra, old, clothing, or books or
whatever else they would desire to donate to some impoverished people in Ha
Giang let me know.
I have been collecting money from some friends and intend to go to a market
and buy blankets, or baby clothes (if any knows a good place to go to buy
such items, let me know)

I am so proud of my students and smile as I write this,

Craig
