[Vnbiz] a few McCain achievements for Vietnam

Hi Andi,
As with any analysts prediction of the future, there are "ifs, buts
and maybes". However, my judgement is that the ferocity of the Dem.
campaign and the calm Rep. campaign (by comparison) will influence voter
sentiment ... they are more likely to see something of Obama that the
don't like. The experience/inexperience gap between McCain & Obama will
also have some influence, but how much I'm not sure.
Since I was a military analyst and not a political analyst, anyone
can feel free to dismiss me as a "crystall ball gazer" :-)
What I mean about political opinions is that they are reserved for
active voters. I don't vote in Australia, so I try hard not to enter
into political discussions of any substance.
I do comment on Vietnam's internal matters. Since I live here I
believe I can comment, but I don't think I have the right to say what
changes must be made or how any changes should be implemented. My guess
is that a search would catch me out a few times, but I try not to tell
Vietnam what to do.
Shane
