Private sector competitiveness experts, Vietnam 

 

Dear all, 

 

Chemonics International, a global development firm based in Washington,
DC, seeks project staff and technical experts for an anticipated
USAID-funded economic reform project in Vietnam. Responsibilities
include: managing, implementing, administering, monitoring, and
evaluating project activities to facilitate policy and regulatory reform
to increase private sector competitiveness by identifying and removing
policy and regulatory constraints at the national and sub-national
levels.  

 

Qualifications:

*	Minimum five years of experience in a similar position of
responsibility, and proven ability to carry out technical,
administrative, operational, and/or logistical aspects of a development
project
*	Experience working for USAID-funded or AusAID-funded economic
growth projects in Vietnam or other neighboring countries highly
preferred
*	Demonstrated experience in assisting national or sub-national
governments identify and remove policy and regulatory constraints to
private sector development, including improvement of government
processes leading to increased economic activity, investment, and
business climate reform, municipal finance, business-to-government
processes, administrative reform, e-government, public private
partnerships, public inquiry, regulatory impact analysis, rural economic
development, and/or international grades and standards.
*	Demonstrated, measurable results and impact from previous
assignments, with indicators such as reforms achieved, increased
investment, improved government management, and resulting jobs created
and exports generated. 
*	Strong ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with
a broad range of national and local government officials, international
donors, business owners, banking officers, and other key stakeholders
*	Demonstrated managerial, administrative, reporting, and/or
representational skills 
*	Advanced degree in economics, law, public policy, business
administration, or other relevant field
*	Fluent spoken and written English desired
