      The Institute for Vietnamese Culture & Education (IVCE), is a New York 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is a leader in promoting Vietnamese culture and assisting Vietnamese students study abroad in American universities. 


      New York (May 9th, 2007). 


      IVCE has been launching a "Study Abroad in America" program since 2000 to help students in Vietnam pursue higher education abroad. Our goal is to provide information about admission and scholarships in the U.S., as well as to give students tools to improve their chances of gaining admission and securing financial aid. 


      Through our outreach and educational programs over the past years, IVCE has received hundreds of questions from Vietnamese students regarding U.S. admission and scholarship programs annually. Our most well received program has been the "Study Abroad in America" conference, which we conduct in Vietnam every summer. The overwhelming interest of Vietnamese students in this topic reinforced our commitment to providing these types of services. Our experience with the students demonstrates to us that there is a high number of students qualified to study in the U.S. but are unable to do so for lack of procedural knowledge. 


      According to the Institute of International Education, 14,112 Vietnamese students attended U.S. colleges and high schools from 2000-2005, including 9,855 undergraduates, 3,612 graduates, and 645 high school students. IVCE has a long term goal to reach between 30,000 and 50,000 Vietnamese students through our “Study Abroad in America” initiative in ten years (2005-2015). We believe students who have the opportunity to study abroad will bring back with them ideas and concepts from American universities that can contribute to the development of Vietnam.

      During this coming summer of 2007, IVCE will carry out eight consecutive seminars on “Study Abroad in America” in Can Tho, Saigon, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Hue, Vinh, Hanoi, and Thai Nguyen respectively. The purpose of these seminars is to facilitate discussions and provide an open forum for direct interaction between IVCE and interested students.

      Hội Văn hóa & Giáo dục Việt Nam (IVCE) thành lập chương trình “Du Học Hoa Kỳ” từ năm 2000 để giúp sinh viên Việt Nam theo đuổi chương trình du học Hoa Kỳ. Hiện nay sinh viên Việt Nam du học tại Hoa Kỳ có lợi thế vì được nhiều tổ chức cấp học bổng như Vietnam Education Foundation, Ford Foundation, Fulbright cho chương trình Thạc Sĩ & Tiến Sĩ, v.v… Ngoài ra, các trường đại học Hoa Kỳ đều có cấp học bổng cho những ứng cử viên loại xuất sắc học chương trình Cử Nhân & Kỷ Sư, Thạc Sĩ, Tiến Sĩ. Theo số thống kê của IIE, số lượng sinh viên học tại các trường đại học Hoa Kỳ từ năm 2000 - 2005 là 14,112 người. Cơ hội du học sẽ đến với mọi người.


      Mục tiêu của IVCE đề ra là trợ giúp 30,000 – 50,000 học sinh, sinh viên, người đi làm về du học Hoa Ky trong 10 năm (2005 – 2015). Chúng tôi tin tưởng rằng sinh viên Việt Nam du học tại Hoa Kỳ sẽ dùng kiến thức đạt được tại Hoa Kỳ mang về đóng góp vào công việc phát triển xã hội Việt Nam.


      Ðặc biệt năm nay, IVCE sẽ có lớp TOEFL, SAT, GRE học miễn phí. Khóa học bắt đầu vào đầu tháng 6, 7, 8, tùy theo mỗi địa điểm. Ngoài ra, tùy theo mỗi địa điểm, các học viên đóng lệ phí nhỏ để chi trả những dịch vụ của trường đại học. Các bạn đến hội thảo Du Học Hoa Kỳ để đăng ký các lớp học.


      Ngoài ra, khi đến hội thảo các bạn sẽ đăng ký mua sách TOEFL, SAT, GRE, GMAT của nhà xuất bản The Princeton Review với giá gốc (khoảng $10 bao gồm lệ phí vận chuyển từ Mỹ về Việt Nam)

      2. Sinh viên đại học & tốt nghiệp đại học
      3. Sinh viên Thạc sĩ & tốt nghiệp Thạc sĩ.

      Buổi hội thảo Du Học Hoa Kỳ sẽ giúp các bạn hiểu rõ:
      1. phương pháp làm hồ sơ nhập học chương trình Ðại học & Sau Ðại Học.
      2. phương pháp tìm học bổng.
