Dear anh Shane & CACC,
Very well spoken, anh Shane. Yes, I agree that it is stupid rule that
you may be in the army and die for your country at 18 but you can't run for
an office in the government that orders you to die. That must be the
hypocrisy of the old-men network, people of our generation, anh Shane :-(
"Hey, you kids can die in the battlefield, we old men do politics in our
office. You're too young to do politics." Gosh, I can just hear myself
saying that, loud and clear, and I am ashamed of myself and my generation.
And I hope that the young generation will all just act like Thu Huong. Be a
leader. Make things happen for your country and your people. The future of
this nation is in your hands. Don't belitlle yourself. Be a leader.
