Dear Brother Phong & CACC,
Of course, we have to use self censorship, or self control or whatever you
want to call it. We want to say things in a brotherly spirit, then we have
to control our writing and our talks reflect that spirit. Even in
our dealing with our parents and children at home, the fundamental spirit is
what that counts, the subject matter of a discussion is secondary.
There are places that everyone can say all kinds dirty things about Vietnam,
its government and its people unrestrictively, and the spirit is to keep
waging a war that is already over 30 years ago. That is destructive to the
country and our people. And I don't consider them "just another voice."
Please, not everything in life is equal.
Have a great day!
Hoanh
