  PanNature and Science & Life Newspaper Join Force for Better Environmental Reporting in Vietnam 

  Hanoi, June 5th 2007 

   
  People and Nature Reconciliation (PanNature) and Science and Lice Newspaper welcome this year’s World Environment Day by an agreement to join force in strengthening environmental reporting in Vietnam. Editors of PanNature’s online magazine ThienNhien.Net will team up with reporters at Science and Life to carry out field environmental investigation missions, in addition to focal campaigns in this two-year memorandum of agreement.  

  “We have looked for opportunities to work with the media and learn from them. PanNature and Science and Life Newspaper share common interests in our wish to raise awareness of the public on environmental problems and crisis in Vietnam”. Mr. Trinh Le Nguyen, Director of PanNature said. “We are very proud to work with one of the most experienced scientific newspapers in Vietnam”.   

   
  ThienNhien.Net registered as an online news medium under License No. 32/GP-BC of the Ministry of Culture and Information. Its editorial team consists of four full-time staff and is backed up by over 80 volunteer contributors (translators and writers), associate journalists, and Vietnamese scientists and researchers. ThienNhien.Net has been online since 2003 and gained a growing number of loyal readers.
