Dear chi Van & CACC,
Thanks for the message, Van. Good to hear from you, sister. Happy New Year.
I am happy to see that you are so faithful to the handicapped. God
bless you, Van.
You mention "support or making ramps for children with wheelchairs at
primary schools." This is such a wonderful project. I am happy that
you are involved in that.
But HOW are we going to support it? Are you thinking about fund
raising, Van? If yes, then we can discuss about this a little.
As a matter of policy, we have always discouraged fundraising in
VNBIZ, otherwise we all will be bombarded with fundraising messages
every day (because we all are involved in some charitable activity out
there). That would ruin the atmosphere needed for discussion.
On the other hand, all good projects need support and we need to
INFORM our brothers/sisters of projects we work on, so that they can
support us in whatever way they can.
So here is my proposal: You post a message about the project and kind
of support you would like to have for your project, including all
necessary links. Then we can read it and forward it to our friends
and do whatever we want with it (including sending you money
privately), but we will not have official fundraising in VNBIZ
(meaning, don't talk abut private money in the forum). Then we will
achieve our information purpose without turning our forum into a
fundraising ground.
Also, I think you should publish your information further and solicit
contribution from companies, Van. Many companies want to contribute
to charity.
Good luck, sister. Hope this helps.
Happy New Year, Van & all
Hoanh
