Chuck,
I feel the same way.
If he did, he hasn't done anything to show it. I came to the conclusion
that he has been too well trained by the military to be able to act
independently if doing so put him in a contrary position with the
leadership. He now has the opportunity to redeem himself. I hope he'll
take it to improve his place in history.
Best, HPP

As a former admirer of Colin Powell, until he abandoned his integrity at
the United Nations in support of Bush's deceptions on Iraq, I wonder if
Powell's concerns extend to the dignity of the tens of thousands of
innocent Iraqi citizens who have been killed or maimed since the U.S.
occupation began?

Hello CACC,
I'd also like to share an inspiring quote that I've just stumbled upon
recently:
"We not only fight for others, but also for ourselves, because we cannot
fully embrace our own dignity as human beings unless we champion the
dignity of others" -- by Colin Powell
Wish everyone a fun weekend! :-)

Dear CACC,
I've just seen this nice quote. Here to share with everyone.
"Be a leader. Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there
is no path and leave a trail."
Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Have a great day!
