  VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
   
  Nouvelle Planète (www.nouvelle-planete.ch, a Swiss-based INGO) works with local partners in community development projects to help women, farmers, ethnic minorities, children, the ill and the handicapped. Nouvelle Planète is active in 5 different provinces of Vietnam since 1991. 
   
  Nouvelle Planète is now seeking a highly qualified Vietnamese to fill in the positions of PROJECT COORDINATOR.
  Duration: one year contract with extension depending on the performance.
  Duty station: Ho Chi Minh City
   
  Responsibilities:
    
   Coordinate all activities related to projects: planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.   
   Work closely with the project manager in Switzerland and local partners to ensure a transparency in project implementation and to report in time.  
   Prepare logistics for Nouvelle Planète’s staff, visitors, and donors to visit projects.  
   Organize work camps for international volunteers.  
   Prepare monthly financial reports.
   
  Qualifications:
    
   University degree, preferably in social sciences, political sciences, international relations or economics  
   Working experience in management of community development projects, or development field  
   Knowledge of the European culture  
   Strong interpersonal and communication skills  
   High team work spirit and ability to work independently with minimum supervision  
   Willing to travel and stay at project sites when required.  
   Good written and spoken English or French  
   Good computer skills
