David Bleja (aka StillWater), a student of Multimedia Design at Monash
University, Australia, has created a Flash video presentation that displays
a global map represents estimates of each nation's worldwide carbon dioxide
emission levels, birthrates and death rates using on base data from the
USA's CIA and United Nations, all in purported "real-time", as it happens.

Going to BreathingEarth.Net <http://www.breathingearth.net/> and clicking to
enter loads up an interactive, multimedia map and starts a counter recording
global births, deaths and carbon dioxide emissions.  Clicking on a country
lists its base data as population and the numbers of minutes in which a
person dies another is born and a kilotonne of carbon dioxide is emitted in
that nation.

In about a minute thirty-four of one run, Stillwater's map guessed 325 folks
bit the big one round the world, 120 new
suckers<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/There%2527s_a_sucker_born_every_minute>lined
up for the Show, by PT
Barnum <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/There%2527s_a_sucker_born_every_minute>,
and another 49,000 tonnes of CO2 were coughed up by folks already here.  See

Vietnam's contribution to populating and polluting the place is listed as 84
million folks pumping out 1000 tonnes of CO2 every 7.9 minutes while adding
to one homo-sapiens every 22 seconds and losing another every minute.
