Dear brother tran,

human needs always increase, especially after you meet the needs. For example, young man needs job to fulfill his personal responsibility. after achieving job, he needs to save money for further developing. Then he needs to get married, then need sweet home, then he needs good school for his children.

After achieving a certain need, he comes up another need. then he comes up a plan to address the new need. He combines many resources that he is keeping to create affordable plan. the combination is his innovation. In this case, the scale of element is more important than the material. for examploe, you want to build a table, which can be suitable for your weight, your height and your habit of using. You can use the same materials such as wood, nails and etc. but your design is quite different to others'. the differences are from the scale such as higher than, thicker than and etc.the design is your innovation.

the innovation comes from your need, of course. the innovation can borrow a lot and a lot of ideas in older designs by other people. The scale of your creative in the innovation probably is less than 1% and the rest of more than 99% from other ideas.

Last week i talked to some young programmers about to develop some software. They asked me about what the needs, what problewms and etc. >From the information of mine, or I might say the user requirement, programmers would check up their technology. How to address my requirement with current technology. They would figure out technological solution. Then they and I need to meet together again to build up final plan.

>From the story, i think innovation comes from reality. People don't care much on how high technology either how much innovated of yours. They focus on how much benefit they may get from the product. We cannot sit still on our office to come up innovation. Kbut we need to meet reality.

Does my response meet your 2 and 3 questions?

  Hello everyone,
Yes, interesting questions indeed Chi Thuy Lien. I'd like to share my thoughts on some of the questions. There's a theme in all your questions: change. I think change is such an important element in our lives. It's so natural and so inevitable, but yet we sometimes forget to recognize it and accept it. The result is that we get left behind. One of my favorite quotes is: "To survive is to adapt." We must adapt, we must be constantly changing and improving in order to thrive and prosper, or at the very least, to survive.

  1. How can we adapt with situation if even our thinking haven't innovate yet?
Exactly. How can we? I don't think there's a way. We have to upgrade our thinking before we can transfer those thoughts into actions.

  2. And, how can we know whether the innovation happened in my mind or not?
I like this question the most. I think it's the most important question; unfortunately, I don't know how to answer it. I'd be very interested to read how others respond to this question.

  3. I wonder if the role of the leader in any orgazination in change-environtment has any difference from one of the past.
Do you mean in a "changing-environment"? As in an environment that's constantly evolving and changing?

5 Besides, how can we predict when the change is needed?
I think change is needed when we find that what we're doing is no longer effective, what we're doing is no longer giving us the desired results. When the needs are not met, then that's a hint that there's something wrong in the process, in the system, and that's when we should consider implementing changes/improvements.

Happy Friday everyone! Looking forward to reading everyone's responses!
  Tram

    Dear CACC,

Several days ago, sis. Thuy Lien posted a gereeting message and in it she posed some very profound questions that I think we need to thining about them very sisrously.

I would like to post some parts of her message here and highlight and number her questions to give them proper emphasis. These are extremely challenging qeustions. Thank you, sister. (My God, I am so amazed at the quality of the college generation of our forum). Here is the excerpt of Thuy Lien's message:

"In the recent day,I've read a book whose tittle is "rethinking the future".I'm impressed in the conception that everything's changing fast and faster. And so,every type of the traditional thinking that we're familiar with in 20 th century isn't right anymore.I feel a real uncertain in my life which is very different from the past which is just 5 years ago. That's a world we're living. The more changes there are,the more flexible we are. That's the truth we all know. But,

    1. How can we adapt with situation if even our thinking haven't innovate yet?

    2. And, how can we know whether the innovation happened in my mind or not?

I'm interested in the leadership.Maybe, never before the word "leadership" has been discussed so many times like today.I find a good alert that the Vietnamese traditional thinking has been changed.Go back the past, for example 5 years ago,we were embrassed when standing up to present ourselves for the monitor of our class.Frankly, that's happening in my university. What I want to mention is

    3. I wonder if the role of the leader in any orgazination in change-environtment has any difference from one of the past.

We mentioned a lot about changes which's happening surely and even happening so fast.

    4. The book that I mentioned discussed an idea that the role of a modern leader is to make a change-waiting environment(I'm not sure about my use of word). But, how to build up it?

5 Besides, how can we predict when the change is needed? Changes are usually difficult with any one because it means many visible uncertain despite of many invisible advantages which a few people can realize. "

Those are very deep deep deep questions. Let us chip in to answer them.

    Have a great day1

    Hoanh
