Dear all,
I think this "physical prejudice" is everywhere, but more prominent in Asian
countries like Vietnam. I also think this "physical prejudice" affects both
men and women, but women feel the blow at a heavier degree. I remember once
watching a 20/20 special edition that discovered that taller men tend to
make more than shorter men. The bad news is: I think we (as humans) do make
judgements based on appearance, whether it be consciously or unconsciously.
The good news is: if we're aware of this unconscious fact, that we
sometimes to this unconsciously, then we can be more cautious of our
thinking and monitor it better. We can stop this thinking before it takes
over our rationale.
Best,
Tram
