[Vnbiz] Vnbizers' project: Social Communication Promotion

Dear CACC, 

 

I'd like to help bro Pham Thanh Nhon to share these docs with you, since
Nhon's computer was broken and he could not access to the internet from
home. This is a very nice job that Nhon has been committed for the last
two-three months. The plan is to develop several community activities
under VNbiz to help Vietnamese people in needs. Social Communication
Promotion is the name of the project. Since we are all constrained with
time, the first small step of SCP is to try to provide resource
(information, material, discussion opportunity) for volunteers and
volunteer managers in Vietnam. The volunteers in Vietnam were doing such
a great job to help the people in disadvantaged circumstances, however
they have not had much resource or guidance material. We've also
received quite numbers of query for assistance regarding the volunteer
management (We might remember what has been a concern in volunteer
management in the last APEC event in Vietnam). We thought our Vnbizer
network is a great example of voluntarism, and a good place to develop
resource for volunteers. The future readers of the web will benefit from
Vnbizers' rich experience. 

 

Attached you can find a short SoW and a more detailed description of
MSCP website developed by Brother Nhon. We look forward to receiving
your valuable inputs and feedback to these two documents. We'd also
appreciate and welcome the participation/involvement of any sis or bro
in this project to spend some of your free  time (if you have any :-))
to develop this website, collect/share materials, provide ideas for
designing or share any thought you might have for the web. We are also
preparing to conduct a small survey on the needs of volunteers and
volunteer managers. Your suggestions and inputs for the survey are
critically important to the project. 

 

That's all I can say so far about the project. Brother Nhon has put his
time and brain into this, I could only help him with limited resource
that I have. Thus we look forward to hearing from you all.
