Dear Nhung and CACC,

If nothing change, you will have two members joining the gathering :-) .

Sorry that I can not give a hand for everybody to organize at the moment.

However, I have one more optional for participants. That is Hideaway coffee
on Pham Ngoc Thach Street.

It is really the cozy, quiet and very suitable place for the warm gathering
as ours. It will be great if we have about 10 people (but I saw one party of
one of department working for Unilever over there with over 20 people).
Their coffees are served wonderful (made by Illy Coffee). The food there is
not rich but still makes your feel interested in :-).

They also have the small room upstairs with very comfortable chairs and to
keep the noise away from the other customers.

Only their price is not as nice as the place is. For one dinner over there,
each member needs about 140,000 VN for food and drink.

And please do not choose Dong Ho restaurant for dinner if you do not want to
be "delicious" food of a hundred of mosquitoes.

Van Xuan/Binh Quoi or Van Thanh will be suitable for the group of 20 people.
However, I vote for Van Thanh or Van Xuan because I am so lazy to travel so
far from my house to Binh Quoi :-).

The last suggestion, Germany beer restaurant on Mac Dinh Chi street (not Hoa
Vien restaurant) will be better for who want to enjoy black beer like me
:-).

Anyway, where our party will organize is not most important thing. For me, I
hope everybody will have the good night for talking and laughing sincerely.

Cheers,

K.Thy

Dear CACC,
This morning in Saigon we had enjoyed such a great year-end gathering.
I myself found it so cool because this was the first time i could see
or talk with all of our anh, chi, (em :p) in Saigon, Hanoi and around
the world.
We had:
1. Chi Dieu Anh: Chi Dieu Anh brought her sister, oops, hehe, her
daughter Su and this made me feel a bit "hesitant" to call her "chi"-
anyway, if you don't mind my 'little" flattering i think you look
really young and sweet. Chi Dieu Anh was wearing a sweet white blouse
and had funny Bac Ki accent (just like me!).
2. Anh Ngoc Anh: Anh Ngoc Anh had just landed in Saigon for a few
hours and looked really great. Anh Ngoc Anh was telling chi Dieu Anh a
lot about his projects but i was busy struggling with the technical
things so i missed most of the conversation. I overheared anh Ngoc
Anh's concerns about lacking of human resource for his projects in
Vietnam. Cheers up anh Anh- this is New Year. We hope for a better
start.
3. Be Su (chi Dieu Anh's daughter): Be Su "dared" to call anh Hoanh
"anh" once, which made anh Hoanh laff so hard! I asked her what she
wanted to study when she gets to university- she said IT or
Journalism. See, CACC, be Su is the "new generation" that we have to
care for (oh well, i'm not trying to sound old). I remembered having
chatted with anh Hoanh, chi Dung (UK) and anh Stephen about this
issue: what to do with teenagers. New Year is the right time to
recover this, right?
4. Me (Nguyen Hong Nhung) : :p
I'm not gonna tell much about me. Anh Hoanh already knew i'm a
"senior" schoolgirl in truong Dai hoc Khoa hoc Xa hoi va Nhan van
TPHCM. When you guys visited HCMC, drop me a line. My cellphone number
is 0903 38 28 70 - i'm still single (grin) and i think i have time to
hang around with cac anh, cac chi- if you want to!
I can provide Vietnamese or English lessons, or tourist service :p-
i'm quite useful in some way. I'm planning to see the world a little
bit before i really throw myself into it!

Oh well, I've graduated and have been a bit different. :)
5. Anh Bao Anh: Anh Bao Anh seemed misterious. He didn't talk much,
just teased our sweet waitress all the time. :p I'm trying to recall
my mind what he told about himself- but i can't now. :) However,
believe me, anh Bao Anh is good looking, gentle, charming, etc.... Anh
Bao Anh, you can raise your voice here-
(in his namecard it said: Dinh Bao Anh- Manager, Business development
department, SCT Vietnam- Siam Cement)
6. Anh Huy: Anh Huy is an IT expert (really?) and just moved from Kinh
Do Corp. to SPT. He brough along his laptop, headset and a tiny camera
so we could talk + showed ourselves to anh Hoanh, anh Viet and anh Tai
(Ken).
7. Chi Lan: You guys might be jealous with us because chi Lan brought
to everyone here couples of china little pink piggy- If you received
one with coins inside, you'll have a prosperous year!
8. Anh Phong "PJ": Anh Phong came quick and left quick, accompanied by
chi Tuyen. Although anh Phong looked young, he had 2 children: one is
2 and one is 9- am i correct? Anh Phong has worked for RMIT - i may
call him "tha^`y" if i see him somewhere outside. Anh Phong, why do
you put "PJ" in your name?
9. Tuyen: She didn't talk much. I figured she is anh Phong's company. :)

Okay, so it's Saigon team. I think there are still more anh, chi who
weren't here, such as anh Shane (bring your wife who have the same
name with me!), chi Dong Vy... Next time gathering, chi Vy, anh Shane
nhe'!

We noticed that anh Hoanh had tried hard to connect Hanoi, Saigon,
Seoul and Washington. That was not very successful though. I suggested
cac anh chi in Saigon to switch off the camera so it was less
confused. The connection here was not very excellent, you know! Anyway
that was really great. We could see Viet (hey man, good looking..:p)-
and we knew in Hanoi you guys had a big party in Intello ( sent over
some chicken as u promised, chi Thanh An!)- we here in Saigon felt
very warm and closed to each other too...... We heard anh Hoanh
clearly, even his typing.. We saw Tai.. We heard Hanoi for a several
short times...

Well, that is it for now. Happy New Year to cac anh, cac chi. Cheers
for good health and hope to see all of you someday soon. Please
correct me if i missed anything...

World Peace! :p
