Dear CACE,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Er, here in Saigon at least. You guys in other timezones are either
"over it" or anticipating!
For anybody who doesn't know anh Tai or me, we are 'antonyms' on the
"Handsome scale". As always with only online contact, the perception one
develops about a person's appearance and nature is inevitably wrong. Anh
Tai is a handsome, strapping, energetic, articulate and ebullient (get
ya dictionaries out folks) 'dude' when I thought he would be a more
sedate and serious person. I guessed correctly that he would be strong,
articulate and energetic, but I pretty much got the rest of my
"assumptions" wrong.
Anh Tai oi! Just for fun, would you like to share with CACE what you
imagined I would be like???
A big thank you to brother Tu and sister Nhung - another
well-organized event. Small, but well arranged. Nhung oi, 'Saigon Sam'
had a "ball" - literally and figuratively. He's cuddling the tennis ball
as he sleeps right now!
To all CACE, I don't make New Year resolutions like many Westerners,
but I do always reflect on what I have done in the past 12 months, and
then set some goals for the next 12 months. One goal I have is for the
VNBiz family to start working together more for mutual benefit and
actively beginning to use each other's services in our regular business.
Coupled with this is the mentoring, advice, ideas, experience, whatever,
that we can all offer for free.
It's a new year and a new start, let's make it a good one!
Shane

I may not be able to post any news at all but I shall be back :) As a New Year draws near, my thought turn gratefully to you who have made this forum progress as much as possible. In this spirit, I simply but sincerely thank you to all of CACE and Happy New Year.
