*CREDIT CARDS*

There are no restrictions on the electronic use of credit cards in Vietnam.
However, it is required under Vietnamese law that a credit card may not be
used without a physical signature of the card holder, although the sanction
for non-compliance is unclear. Generally speaking, in Vietnam financial
institutions may agree to accept payments via credit card from vendors on
the condition that the vendor assumes the risk that the transaction is later
declined by the card holder.
