Dear brother Toan & CACC,
You don't have to put me on the spot to make your point, you know? :-)
To know about each other more, we can follow two simple things:
1. Each person can volunteer to send a detail profile and we keep all
the profiles in one place on the Net. Only folks who have volunteered
their profile have access to that place. (The "Profile form" can be
created for everyone to fill out.).
2. Be with each other as much as we can, like playing tennis
together, work together, dance together.
No big deal.
The big deal is the spirit. How are we going to keep a brother/sister
spirit between us?
Human relationship is not the easiest thing in the world to handle.
Relationship is broken easily, between friends, between family
members, between lovers, between business partners, between tribes,
between nations, etc. We see that every day. The key to our success
is how we keep our relationships going as long as possible, lasting
forever so to speak.
How do we keep a relationship going? I don't really know the answer.
It is like: "The key to being a millionaire is to be successful in
business." But how to be successful in business? Well, if the answer
is easy, everyone the world is a millionaire already.
I only know half of the answer: I cannot control any one's heart, but
I MAY be able to control my heart. I may not be able to make him
treat me as his brother, but I may be able to make my heart treat him
as my bother.
Does it sound too idealistic, too naive, too one-way?
Probably.
But I aim for efficiency. I know that trying to control (or even just
to convince) someone else's heart is a fruitless affair, but
controlling my own heart is an achievable task.
Have a great day!
Hoanh
