[Vnbiz] research contacts needed!

Dear VNBizers:

I am currently in Viet Nam to conduct some final
research for my manuscript on Vietnamese American
community—Viet Nam relations. I am especially
interested in speaking with individuals for the
following:
1) Government officials and businesspersons working on
IT in Viet Nam (especially in regards to net usage)
2) Government officials, entertainers, and scholars
working on contemporary popular music.
3) How best to get statistics on remittances from the
overseas Vietnamese population (formal and informal).
And who to talk to about this topic.

As an aside for a future project, I am also interested
in interviewing Vietnamese nationals and Viet Kieus
who are in romantic relationships (of any sort).

I will be in Hanoi September 28 to October 3, 2004 and
in Saigon from October 4-6, 2004. Thank you for your
