Hello everyone:
What's the translation for "meconium" beside "cu+'t su" according to Tu+.
DDie^?n Y Ho.c Anh Vie^.t by Dr. Bu`i Kha'nh Thua^`n, 1993?
It is "the first intestinal discharges of the newborn infant, greenish in
color and consisting of epithelial cells, mucus, and bile."
What is the Vietnamese term "su" ? I thought it must come from French,
but I only found on the web that the French translation is "me'conium"
with the accent accute "da^'u sa('c"
Would you think I should go ahead and use "cu+'t su" straight from the
professional dictionary or should I be concerned about public etiquette
and use a milder word?
May be: "pha^n dda^`u-tie^n cu?a tre? so+-sinh" sounds nicer for general
public?
Thanks,
Ta^m
