Josh,
My dictionary defines guile as: sá»± lừa Äảo, sá»± lừa gạt, mư mẹo, thủ Äoạn, xảo trá
(Note: if you don't see the above in correct Vietnamese, you need to change view/encoding to Unicode UTF-8)
Example:
- to take something from somebody by guile
lừa ai lấy váºt gì
- a man full of guile
con ngưá»i xảo trá lắm mư mẹo
So I would translate the sentence something like this: "Bà ấy là má»t ngưá»i có tấm lòng trong sạch." or "Cuá»c Äá»i chá» chưa bao giá» có má»t vết nhÆ¡."
Hope that helps.

Hello all,
I am translating a eulogy and am struggling with the phrase "She truly was one in whom there was no guile". Specifically, the word guile. The dictionary translations I am finding indicate a sense of guile meaning wanting to kill someone. This is simply not the case I want to indicate.
I think the sense I am trying to convey is more of...she didn't judge anyone, she respected everyone, she befriended everyone etc...
Thank you,
Joshua
