Hi Joshua,
Guile to me is treacherous or deceit. So I would translate it as: "Ba` thu+.c su+. la` mo^.t ngu+o+`i ma` trong lo`ng kho^ng co' mo^.t chu't ti. hie^`m na`o ca? " or simply and more Vietnamese: "Ba` thu+.c su+. co' lo`ng to^'t vo+'i ta^'t ca? mo.i ngu+o+`i"

Subject: [vn-trans] eulogy & Guile
Hello all,
I am translating a eulogy and am struggling with the phrase "She truly was one in whom there was no guile". Specifically, the word guile. The dictionary translations I am finding indicate a sense of guile meaning wanting to kill someone. This is simply not the case I want to indicate.
I think the sense I am trying to convey is more of...she didn't judge anyone, she respected everyone, she befriended everyone etc...
Thank you,
Joshua
