Well, if you're talking about using something like an Ipod in your car, then
the best way to get the best sound quality is to install an audio input to
the back of your car stereo. Some car stereos have built-in aux input jacks
to make this easier. If not, you can get an adapter that is specific to
your car stereo make (Google for P.I.E. adapters). The adapters are
available for most aftermarket and factory head units. This option requires
that you know a little about installing a car stereo; not too complicated,
but some basic skills are required. The adapter option works best if your
car stereo has a CD Changer controller, because the adapter can
automatically switch your stereo to the aux input when it detects a signal
from your MP3 player.

If you want more specific help, then provide your year, make, model of your
car and the car stereo model.

Cheers,
Dang Nguyen

Subject: [vn-tech] Best way to hookup MP3 player

What is the best way to hook up a MP3 Player to the car. I am looking at a
couple option here, if anyone has any experience or opinion one way or
another, please chime in:

1. Get MP3 player and installed in the car. I am not really interested in
this option 2. Cassette tape with wire to plug in to your IPod. I am using
this right now and quality sucks :( 3. Open up the car stereo and hook up an
audio input to the back of your stereo. I am thinking of doing this :) 4. FM
modulator. I don't have one, not sure of quality. If anyone's using this,
please help me out.
5. Anything else... install a computer in your car :)
