[vn-tech] Help assigning special group privileges in Windows 2000 Server

Hi All,

I did this once, but now I can't remember how to do it again (and I need to
again). I want to allow certain users special privileges to restart a
service on a Windows 2000 Server. We have a vendor scheduling service
running that occasionally stops processing jobs through its queue, and to
resume processing the jobs through the queue, the service needs to be
restarted.

I don't want to be the only person able to do this, so I thought about
creating a special group containing users who I will allow to restart this
service. I only trust these users to restart the service since they are the
project managers and program managers who use and administrate the 3rd-party
service. I don't want to give them full administrative access to the
server.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
