  The Minister & The Taxi Driver

One day a minister died and went to heaven. As he looked around, 
  he got very upset, so he went to Saint Peter and asked, 
   
  "Peter, why does a New York City taxi driver have a higher position 
  in Heaven than I do? I was a minister of God - I took care of God's sheep ! 
  I don't understand this."

"Well," said Peter, "that's true - you did take care of God's sheep. 
  But what generally happened when you gave your sermons ?"

"Well, some of the flock would fall asleep."

"That's right. But when this New York City taxi driver drove his cab 
  around town, they not only stayed awake - they prayed !"
