Attached is FYI of the subject paper. Its applications are very useful for
many companies in Minnesota such as Honeywell, Lockheed/Martin, MTS Systems,
etc. with control systems such as space shuttles, airplanes, automobiles,
earthquake simulators, machine robots, laser disc players, elevators,
antenna azimuth, landing systems, ... I found it fascinating when we can
control these huge systems with control science. Honeywell where i used to
work for 10 years has a slogan that it's a CONTROL company. It's also very
interesting to point out that we can CONTROL ourselve or our mind through
rules, mindfulness and wisdom (gio+'i, ddi.nh, tue^.) as well conveyed by
the enlightened ones constantly (i.e. Figures 1.1 and 1.10 of the text book
in reference [1] of the paper abstract as enclosed).

perception, mental formation, and conciousness), hence overcomes ill-being
and attains the freedom (liberation from suffering, etc.) - Ngu+o+`i co'

LABORATORY USING LABVIEW

Anh Anh and Anh Nhon:

Thanks for your quick feedback.

I understand and respect your opinion and decision. I had a similar concern
when having such a subject for VTIC's specific theme this year. But i like
to point out few things in our subject's materials as following.

- Our subject materials are about engineering and technology. As mentioned
in the abstract, the materials are from and for engineers. They also cover
computing and science, because it's about control science along with using
signal processing software for computation.

- The paper is innovative in two respects: a) This course attemps to combine
2 disciplines together namely electrical and mechanical. Because it's a fact
and a direction that engineering companies have been dealing with to speed
up their product development. Hence they need these combined skills from
engineers. b) Innovation in using the more advanced engineering software to
speed up the time as we're claiming 25% in the abstract.

- This work is celebrating the present of what we're doing in computing,
engineering, technology and science (CETS) and inspiring the future in this
CETS area, in particular with a leadership in system engineering. The
authors of this paper are 5 professors in 3 different areas of electrical,
mechanical and computer sciences at University of Saint Thomas in Minnesota.

If you like to see more details of the above claims, we'll be happy to
provide them. If you like us to tone down the words teaching and education,
we could also do that.

Best Regards,
Tho. 651-633-5925.

LABORATORY USING LABVIEW

Anh Tho,

Hi, thanks for the submission. Unfortunately, after a careful review of the
abstract and a detailed discussion among the general and technical chairs,
we are truly sorry to inform you that we will not be able to accept the
paper for inclusion into the VTIC07 program for presentation and
publication.

The decision is based on the fact that the topic of the submitted paper is
more education, rather than engineering or technology, in nature. As such,
it does not meet VTIC's subject selection criteria. Should there be a change
in this subject selection policy, we will be happy to reconsider the
submitted paper for inclusion into the VTIC program.

Again, thanks for the submission and please accept our sincere apology for
not being able to accept the paper.

Regards,

Anh Dinh

AUTOMATION USING THE LABVIEW SOFTWARE

Hello anh Hue & anh Nhon & anh Anh: One more paper abstract is in. Please
provide your feedback & suggestion which session the paper should be. If the
session is full, please check with anh Tho Vu whether the paper could be
presented in the poster session.
Anh Tho: Thanks for sending the abstract. if the sessions are full, will you
be OK to present in the Poster Session? In the poster session, if the paper
is finished, it will be printed under the
Computing/Engineering/Technology/Science section inside the proceedings, but
the presentation will be in the poster time. If the paper is not finished,
the slides of the presentation will be inside the Poster session of the
proceeding. Please advise.
Thanks!

Anh Chris: Attached is an abstract for the subject. Hopefully, there is
still time. The abstract has not been approved by my employer (Univ. of St.
Thomas) yet. Please let me know if the paper can still be in. Thanks, Tho.
