[vacets-adcom] Vote to extend BoD Term, Changing By-Laws and VTIC05

Dear VACETS BoD,

I probably should have started this message after VTIC 04 in LA because we did discuss this matter. What we the BoD needs to do at this point is to:

1. Vote to extend the term of this BoD to August of 2005, when VTIC 05 in San Jose is held and the new BoD is in place.
2. Start a discussion on changing the by-laws to permanently set a two-year term for any future BoD. This includes justification and voting within the BoD, and possibly other forum, to happen before the next election which is expected to happen sometimes in March of 2005.
3. Press on with organizing VTIC 2005. We have agreed at VTIC 04 that anh Tri Tran will be starting up VTIC 05 at San Jose. It is less than a year away and needs to be kicked off soon if we want to have a successful one.

I would suggest that anh Hai takes an active role in some of these items that need to be taken care of.
