[Hue] About the language?

John: I did what you're about to do in 1998. I have many answers to 
your questions, but I'm on leave right now from the VA hospital; have 
thirty minutes left at home before I have to return. If my wife could 
stand the heat, I would move to VN, permanently, too, and Hue is where 
I'd chose, not just because that's where I served with the 82nd and 
101st but because it's not really "the south" and it's not really "the 
north." I have another week in the hospital and will write to you when 
I return ... just ask more questions, if you have'em.

we were there at the same time; my call sign as an artillery forward 
observer was "Alpha One" or "Gunner's Eye" ; if you were in the 
artillery, I might have kept you up at night for a year.
