[Hue] About the language?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I hope you will not shun me.  I'm an American that was in your country 
in 1968 & 1969 at the height of the war.  I'm 59 years old now and 
Vietnam and it's people have never been very far away from my heart in 
all these years.  My dearest friend and I were stationed at a place 
called Camp Evans just North of Hue and from there we were able to visit 
your city a couple of times for very short visits.  Both of us will be 
returning next July to tour the whole country and if things go well I 
plan to stay for the rest of my life.  One of the main reasons for me 
joining this message board is to get information about the cost of 
living in Hue.  I will have a modest income that I hope will accommodate 
a Vietnamese wife and myself.  If anyone can give me a general idea of 
what those costs would be on a monthly basis I will buy you a beer when 
I get there.  Please reply in English because I can not speak or read 
Vietnamese.
